Safety Plans

If your team has any testing to do with your project that could have risk to people or property, you will likely need to create a safety plan and have it approved. The safety plan needs to address the following items:

  • Purpose of the activity
  • Scope of the activity, travel or testing
  • Potential Hazards
  • Safety measures to remediate the hazard(s)

Putting together a plan takes time and you’ll need to have it in place and approved before testing can be performed or travel made. Plan a month or more ahead. Sources that may be used to help put the safety plan together are:
