Final Manager Review Grading Considerations

Executive Summary

1. (10 points) Overall professionalism, grammatically correct, make sense overall, artifacts included in a logical order

 2. (5 points) Overview

  • Has the team thoughtfully presented the purpose of the project and its impact to the sponsor/larger community?
  • Did the team present the value proposition and the impact of the project based on their project final design, including changes to original assumptions and expectations?

3. (15 points) Description of Design

  • Is the summary of the design clear?
  • Does it make sense?
  • Are appropriate artifacts referenced?
  • Are visuals included if they would aid in the description of the project? 

4. (15 points) Summary of Final Performance

  • Has the team addressed the KSMs and whether or not those have been met?
  • Has the team been transparent about final performance?
  • Does the team show there has been adequate testing to validate their results?
  • Are appropriate artifacts referenced?

5. (15 points) Conclusion and Recommendations

  • Has the team thoughtfully considered the value of their work?
  • Has the team provided thoughtful recommendations for future work (or a discussion of how the work will be integrated if there is no further development)?

6. (10 points) Content Summary of Final Design Package

  • Is a content list of the final design package included?
  • Is there a summary of the contents?

Presentation

1. (1 point) Overall professionalism, everyone on time and dressed professionally, slides are clean and clear

 2. (2 points) Project Status

  • Is the project complete? If not, is it clear what is left to do?
  • Is there a plan in place to complete the project?
  • Did the team meet the needs of the sponsor in terms of the value proposition?

3. (1 points) Content Summary of Final Design Package

  • Is it clear what the team plans to include in the Final Design Package?
  • Has the team verified with the sponsor that the Final Design Package, when complete and refined, will meet their needs?

4. (2 points) Status of Final Design Package

  • Does the final design package include what the sponsor said they need?
  • What still needs to be completed/revised in the final design package?
  • Is there a clear plan to complete the final design package?

5. (1 point) Design Fair Plan

  • Does the team have a plan for what will be shown at the Design Fair?

6. (3 points) Conclusion and Recommendations

  • Does the team understand the significance of their work and how it impacts their sponsor?
  • Did the team provide validation to support their conclusions about results?
  • Has the team provided thoughtful recommendations for future work?
